SEO Desk (“seodesk.ai”, “we”, “us”) provides search visibility and lead generation services to businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control. It applies to the marketing site and the SEO Desk application.
What we collect
- ·Account details you give us: name, work email, business website, trading address and phone number.
- ·Report requests from the free snapshot form: your website and the email address you supply.
- ·Keywords you choose to track, and the metrics we retrieve for them from our research providers.
- ·Usage data needed to run the service: session tokens and security logs.
Google Search Console and Google Analytics data
If you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, we access that data with read-only permissions, solely to display your own search and traffic performance back to you inside your SEO Desk dashboard and reports, and to compute the trends those reports rely on. We store the minimum needed for this: OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest, never exposed to your browser), the property identifier, and daily performance totals.
SEO Desk’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service you asked for, and no humans read it except with your permission, for security, or to comply with law.
You can disconnect either property at any time from Settings, or revoke SEO Desk’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On disconnection we delete the stored tokens.
What we never do
- ·We never sell your data.
- ·We never train machine-learning models on your data.
- ·We never send marketing to addresses collected through your own lead capture, they are yours alone.
Where your data lives
Application data is stored in our own database infrastructure. Content you publish and leads you capture remain your property. We retain account data for as long as you hold an account; ask us to delete it and we will, within 30 days.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you (including POPIA and the GDPR), you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can object to processing. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
